The latest release of Edge now allows users in Israel and Europe to sell cryptocurrency to a bank account. As well, users in Sweden can now purchase cryptocurrency using the Swedish bank payment method, Swish.
Our new exchange partners add more regions and payment methods to Edge’s non-custodial exchange experience. In previous releases we added buy and sell options for users in the United States, Canada, Europe, and many other countries, with payment options ranging from bank accounts, credit cards, ATMs, and even Apple Pay.
In this release, our exchange partner, Bits of Gold, enables Edge users in Israel and Europe to sell to a bank account right from their Edge wallet.
In addition, our partner Safello now allows our Swedish and European users to onboard into cryptocurrency using either Swish, a Swedish bank payment method, or a credit card.
We’re pumped to add these new partners. It’s been a pleasure working with them and we’re excited to continue making the exchange experience as easy as possible for users all over the world with all of our partners.
In this release we’ve also added, Coinswitch, which brings even more liquidity to our non-custodial crypto-to-crypto exchange engine. With the addition of Coinswitch in this release and Fox exchange in a previous release, Edge now supports eight crypto-to-crypto exchanges.
The Edge exchange engine quickly matches a user’s exchange request with the exchange that has the best price for their swap. Instead of hunting for quotes across different exchanges manually, Edge automates this function for our users. Edge users not only have easy access to the best pricing for crypto-to-crypto swaps but they also have access to a deep pool of liquidity for many different crypto-assets.
Our development team also improved the stability of the application, improved the exchange experience with our partner Wyre, and updated some of our in-app notifications.
