Airbitz Bitcoin Wallet Launch at Inside Bitcoins Las Vegas

This week the entire San Diego Airbitz staff is at Inside Bitcoins Las Vegas to announce the launch of our integrated bitcoin wallet and business directory! It has been an intense few months preparing for today, but thanks to our beta users and feedback at the various bitcoin conferences we have a product that we are proud to bring to the public. Our hope is to make bitcoin more accessible to the masses, and we believe we have achieved that in the app we’ve launched today.

If you’re at the conference, stop by the Airbitz booth to say hello. Also, come hear our CEO Paul Puey speak at a session tomorrow afternoon.

Bitcoin Wallets: Balancing Security, Privacy, and Ease of Use
Tuesday, October 7th at 2pm
Unlike the limited selection of banks that our traditional financial service gives us, Bitcoin presents a massive array of choices when it comes to choosing a wallet to store and use our bitcoin. But with great power and options comes great responsibility and due diligence. In this talk, we’ll cover various key features to look for and questions to ask before deciding on a type and provider of wallet to use. We’ll cover and compare user owned private key wallets, hosted wallets, multisig, cold storage, and the many providers that fit the cross section of these options.

Please download the app and spread the word to your friends that might be interested in giving bitcoin a try. And let us know what you think! We look forward to rolling out new features and making improvements over the coming months.
